i am counting down.
my accounting career will come to an end come this coming tuesday - 17/6/2008.
i tendered my resignation letter on 11/6/2008 and with one week of notice, i will officially end work on 17/6/2008.
i am idling in the office all day long now which makes me wonder is there really a need for companies to have that one week's notice or one month's notice.
is there really a need for all these?
do they really need that time period?
i don't think so.
i just feel that we are both wasting each other's time.
do they think that they can achieved anything by asking that fellow to stay in the office for that particular period?
no.
that fellow is not going to work just because you are not letting him go.
and even if they really manage to get him to work, they will just end up with some messy stuffs which they have to clear up themselves.
is that what they really want?
ha.
i don't know.
